spring 2009, the ACA National Board of Directors approved revisions to Standards
HW-17 (Availability of an AED). This fall members of the National Standards
Commission (NSC) met and established the interpretation and demonstration of
compliance for this standard. It has been reviewed and approved by ACA’s
legal counsel. Learn more about this standard as well an

Summer Enrollment Survey Closes Soon! |
|
Directors — we
need your summer 2009 enrollment information! With the economic downturn as
well as the H1N1 outbreak, we know that this summer was challenging for many
camps. The Fall Enrollment Survey is the one place for us to collect this critically
important information, but we have to have YOUR help! Please complete the camper
enrollment-staff recruitment survey before October 31! The survey is completely
anonymous and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
When compiled, the data will provide us with critical information about such
aspects as attendance at camp, increases and decreases in enrollment, returning
camper statistics, age breakdowns, session lengths, staffing patterns, and
current challenges faced around camper enrollment and staff recruitment. The
information from this survey will provide a baseline from which we make projections
and determine trends for the coming year, so every camp’s information
is critically important! |
